Broken Door Publishing has given Dead Man walking the green light, we are currently looking for artists and inkers.

Jason Patterson was not a child found in a space ship that crashed to Earth, he doesn’t have an alter ego who dresses in spandex and fights crime (not that we know about, anyway), and he doesn’t spend his days off hitch hiking across the galaxy catching rides on Vogon space ships, but coincidentally, he does know where his towel is. Patterson might not be any of these things, but he does love reading about them. If Patterson was a super hero (which we’ve already informed you he isn’t) he would most likely be the Retail Avenger, as he does battle daily with evil super villain group “The Customers” at his place of employment FYE. Patterson has worked for Tranzworld Entertainment and it’s sub-divisions for over six years.

In his spare time he enjoys long walks on the beach, dinner by candle light, and the soothing sounds of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, and his turn ons are... wait. Wrong advertisement.

Patterson has been an avid reader ever since he was young. He got his first real introduction by stumbling through the back of the wardrobe and into Narnia, and from there he’s made various stops where he has enjoyed wonderful vacations including an ongoing education at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. When not daydreaming in one fantasy world, he daydreams in another as he enjoys the modern fantasy of Neil Gaiman and the intrigue of James Patterson’s Alex Cross novels. When it comes to the world of comics and super heroes Patterson likes to spend most of his time in Gotham City, but doesn’t mind stepping outside the city borders occasionally to see what’s going on elsewhere.

Jason Patterson’s other love (or some would say obsession) is movies. His favorites include Sin City, Harvey, Clerks, Batman Begins, Rushmore, Reservoir Dogs, Fight Club, and Lilo and Stitch.

When not hiding in a fantasy world of someone else’s creation, Patterson likes to create his own. He currently helps run an ongoing creative writing project for wrestling fans called OPW (which can be found at www.outlawprowrestling.deviouswrestling.net ). For the past 5 years he has written the on going life story of fictional character named Patrick Kidd (a professional wrestler dealing with a bunch of personal problems). These stories can be found at the OPW website above, and he continues to post new stories on a regular basis about the life of Patrick Kidd.

Patterson’s latest adventure is joining the staff of Broken Door Publishings where he hopes his creative mindset can help on various projects in various ways. His current project is the upcoming comic series Dead Man Walking which he will be writing.
