Atlantis Studios Announces DVD Release of
Paula Peril: Mystery of the Crystal Falcon

SUWANEE, GA - Atlantis Studios announced today the DVD release of “Paula Peril and the Mystery of the Crystal Falcon”, the popular live action film starring Valerie Perez (Tears of the Dragon), Marla Malcolm (2001 Maniacs) and Ben Lamm (My Sixteenth Summer), and directed by Savvy Lorestani. This short film, which has become extremely popular to download, is adapted from the popular comic series The Adventures of Paula Peril.

The DVD contains 120 new production photos, trailers, re-mastered sound and music, with some content re-edited exclusively for the DVD. “This film represents the work of many dedicated and talented people,” said Executive Producer James Watson, “This DVD release represents the definitive version of Crystal Falcon, the vision we wanted to create.”

‘The Mystery of the Crystal Falcon’ follows the adventures of Paula “Peril” Perillo, a sexy and determined investigative reporter who investigates the brazen theft of a strange artifact. She teams with photographer Jimmy Smith, but jealous rival reporter Veronica Vilancourt also pursues the story, and soon all three uncover the perilous truth behind an ancient evil.

“The Mystery of the Crystal Falcon” is the first of three new live action films currently in production. The next film “The Invisible Evil” is scheduled for release this fall.

It was first published in February 2006 and has since become Atlantis Studios best-selling original title. The series was first adapted into a short film ‘Trapped in the Flames’ which was first released in February 2007, and which is still available for sale on DVD or via online download.
