I took my two sons to the show on Saturday. What can I say... well, it was an insteresting experience... there was a lot of writers and artists there, but most of them looked bored! Sure, the big timers had lines, but most just stared at you like a kid wanting a cookie from the cookie jar that was on the top shelf! There was some good costumes too! The most interesting group was 5 friends who made really nice costumes of a fake superhero team! Also the 501's Star Wars troop was there and a complete family of Predator Hunter Aliens!

But only Sergio, Kittson and a silver age artist were swamped the times I was there.

As for the comic, there were some great deals to be had! I picked up amost all the Amazing Spider-man's I was looking for at really good prices!

The highlight was meeting Chuck Rozanski from Mile High Comics, he was on a buying terror for Silver and Bronze age comics of high quality! In his weekly newsletter he complains about his health, but he looked healthy... maybe it's an act for the public and when he gets back to his hotel room he's wiped out?

On Sunday afternoon, I got in for Free at about 3:00pm! I asked a person leaving for the blue wrist band and they gave it to me! I went on a $0.50 an issue buying terror... I stopped reading Spawn back at issue 36... but at $0.50 an issue, I purchased issues 37-86! I also picked up a bunch of X-men mini-series I never bought!

I didn't find Amazing Spiderman issues 430 & 431... and I wouldn't pay the insane price of $25 for Amazing Spidey Vol. 2 # 30 or $45 Amazing Spidey Vol. 2 # 36! I did pick up an Incredible Hulk # 340 in Very Fine condition for $15 by going between 4 booths that all had multiple copies of this comic!
