Comic Collector Live is a disorganized comic collector's dream!

I started using their program early in 2007. It is a great product for the comic collector who had tons of comics in white boxes in the basement. I sort of knew what I had, but not really and I wasn't sure what items I was missing... well... what I was doing was using an Access database I set up and would sometimes update, but it was very incomplete.

Then, I was reading a comicbook in January of 2007 and saw the ad for http://www.comiccollectorlive.com/. Then I saw it again in and again in other issue and it said it was free... well... I was skeptical about it since there is "No Such Thing As A Free Lunch.(Robert Heinlein)" But it is free!!!! I don't work for them or have any vested interest in http://www.comiccollectorlive.com/, I just love their product!

I was so suprised with how easy it was to set up when I joined! I mean super easy!!!!!!!! Just pick the comics you collect from the add list and then it sets up a list the comics you collect. Then it was quick to add the comics. Since it was so easy and quick I am hooked on it! The weekly comic updates are 98% there by the end of Wednesday and those that aren't there are up within a day or two... it is a great service. Plus if you are a data geek like me, you can easily download the inventory for backup in Access, Excel or SQL format.

I recommend it! Plus unlike other comic book forums that focus only on comic stories or chat, http://www.comiccollectorlive.com/ has a major forum focus on the ins and outs of collecting! From general questions to specific ones, there is always help in answering them... plus a grading forum, just post your comic jpegs and you will get excellent feedback on condition grading.

I highly recommend you sign up for this free service! You won't regret it and finally after all these years you will have a definitive inventory of your entire collection with all the pictures of the covers(also variants), issue info and who wrote and drew it.
