So why am I here anyway? I'm not a publsihed writer or artist. I just stopped doing a webcomic called "Poorly Drawn Comic" in Dec 2006. It had run, off and on, for 3 years. Some days I enjoyed doing it, other days not so much. I kept up with it because it was the one creative thing I was continuing to do. Most of my life is spent being a cynical prick, but if I really want to be honest about the whole thing (which I clearly should be in the semi-anonymous context of an enormous web-based friends network), being creative is what makes me happy. Trying to come up with something new. Something I've made. It's rewarding. People should have something rewarding in their lives, otherwise they just accept the stupid crap life gives us and we end up with NASCAR and WalMart and monkeys running the country. Actually, that last one might be cool. If it's gotta be either the monkeys or the robots that eventually defeat humans, I vote monkey. They'd be sadistically cruel sure, but also maniacally unpredictable - which alone would make them entertaining. Until the day they end up at your house all hopped up on bananas, swinging from the eves and fornicating with your housepets.

So anyway, yeah. Now I'm here, and I'm thinking of rerunning my entire strip from day one in hopes of attracting more readers. I did have the whole thing on the web already, but a recent software malfunction (which resulted in an unprecedented amount of swearing) ended all that. I thought about chucking everything, but figured the best thing to do when handed a pile of feces is to throw it back at the world, so that's what I'm going to do.
