pewfell
Pewfell is an epic fantasy sitcom that follows the amazing adventures of an inept wizard, his warrior princess wife and the small blue gnome who squats in their basement. Pewfell began running as daily webcomic in early 2001 and was one of the charter strips offered as part of ModernTales.com when it launched in 2002 and continues to appear there to this day. I pencil, ink, write & color Pewfell, with a little help form my co-writer Adam Prosser and colorist Carla Costa. I created the series so I could have an excuse to doodle lots of fun stuff like goofy looking monsters and hot babes in chainmail bikinis. Some of My inspirations for Pewfell include the comic strip work of E.C. Segar, Goscinny & Uderzo , Gilbert Shelton and the books of Terry Pratchett. --- People around the world enjoy Pewfell because it's an original and hilarious fantasy romp that appeals to smart readers of all ages: "Pewfell Porfingles: Is kick ass, with extra kick left over in case more ass shows up. Great art, and cool fantasy/sci-fi storylines" — Tycho Brahe, Penny Arcade "Solid laughs, funny characters, and ludicrous plot points from start to finish...[Chuck] does a very nice job of visually bringing Pewfell’s milieu to life. This remains one of my favorite indy sleepers: a satisfying little book." — Marc Mason, MoviePoopShoot.com "[an] online comic masterpiece." — Carson Fire , Creator of ElfLife "PORFINGLES KICKS HARRY POTTER'S SKINNY LITTLE QUIDDICH-PLAYING BE-HIND!!!" — Chris Adams, Creator of Yamara "Creative, outrageous, and original — this is an excellent fantasy comic!" — Alden Scott Crow, Zine World http://www.pewfell.com

Chuck! Duuude! (Sorry, that kind of hat always makes me want to yell "duuuude" in a loud, annoyingly teenagery way) Thanks for remembering me, and remembering me kindly n' stuff. :) I've always loved the cast and environments of Pewfell (your castles and stuff always blow me away). |

Thanks for the add, Chuck. I'm a big fan of your comic -- always a satisfying punchline (or two) for each installment and always a good hook to keep me coming back. You're one of the three comics I subscribe to on WCN right now. Keep up the good work! |
