I'm Phil Kahn. I do things sometimes. I'm a Film & Media Arts major at Temple University, wrapping up my senior year and hard at work on my thesis project. I'm horribly, horribly addicted to comics and the internet. This will basically be "Phil Kahn Central" as far as Webcomics are concerned until I get off my ass and set up philkahn.com. So, welcome. Here are some things that I do/have done:Sketchies - My current comic project with T Campbell and Ryan Estrada. Digital Strips - The Webcomics Podcast. Biscuit Press - My Webcomics Comrades in Arms. Clickwheel - Comics on your iPod. I do animatics for them. Check 'em out, they're free. PhilKahnusPrime - My various YouTube thingies. For the moment, you'll find I'm Just Saying: The Podcast and a bunch of video interviews Daku and I did for Digital Strips. I'm Just Whining - My LiveJournal. I'm Just Drinking - The only wiki and podcast around dedicated to Webcomic-themed cocktails. I'm Just Saying - A Webcomics Blog that I'm taking an extended break from, but still has a few noteworthy articles you can check out. Convention Schedule:Genericon XX, Jan 26th-28th - Definitely attending, likely a guest, highly likely to shoot an episode of IJD. RATING: B+New York Comic Con, Feb 23rd-25th - RATING: B - Worth at least a day trip for the average comics fan.RavenCon, April 25th-27th - Definitely going, the premiere of Sketchies in a convention setting. BootyCon, May 18th-21st - Definitely attending. It's more of a get together for OB members than a formal con. But, y'know, I'm still going. IJD episode unlikely, but will probably document it in some way. RATING: A+ - Probably the best vacation I've ever gone on.Wizard World Philly, June 15th-17th - Definitely attending, will be chilling at the PhilCon table, unlikely (but not outside of the realm of possibility) to shoot an episode of IJD. RATING: B - Worth a day trip for comics fans.ConnectiCon, July 13th-15th - Possibly attending and doing many panels, getting interviews for Digital Strips with Daku (video, likely). RATING: B+ - A hectic Con, but treats the Webcomics Artists very, very well.PhilCon, November 16th-18th - Yes, the convention is seriously called PhilCon and I am not joking about it. Definitely attending, may have table, definitely doing panels.
