Computer wizard Heidi Hoffman is a virtuoso when it comes to high-tech machinery, but interfacing with humans is another matter altogether. After the dot-com crash, Heidi reboots her career in the stuffy world of banking, where sucking-up is more valued than smarts. While fixing a network problem, Heidi intercepts a chilling e-mail from fellow bank employee, Alicia Lyons. The message: a warning to her conspirator that she'd been exposed. With the techie's good sense of discretion, Heidi ignores what she sees and goes about her job. Until Alicia turns up dead. What was Alicia involved in? Embezzling? An illicit affair? Or something much worse? A terrible night in Heidi's past taught her the price of standing by and doing nothing. Heidi finds herself caught between Alexy, an enigmatic Russian mobster and the matter-of-fact FBI agent Tracy Martins. Putting herself out as bait, Heidi risks everything to flush out the killer and shatter a conspiracy far larger than she had ever imagined. Soon Heidi will learn the terrifying secret of Lex Talionis, the mortal law of retribution. http://www.planetheidi.com/

Thanks for the add. Not to be too shameless, but I'd like to point you to my current comic Dusk - http://dusk.ambrosiapublishing.com/. I'm honestly looking for good solid feedback on the story. I'm even willing to make trades for reviews and/or exposure. I'd be willing to do link swaps or even write a script in trade. |

More of a bat-girl fan (classic Barbara Gordon batgirl, red-hair, glasses, y'know) but nice bat-blog. I think I had some of those toys. |
