My first love is the written word; my second is art in all its varied forms. Both are gifts from my mother who taught me to read on Tolkien. If not for books, I'd most likely go mad. I suppose it's a good thing I earn my bread and butter in a bookstore.

I have a hobby... an addiction really, of collecting symbols. I spent every spare moment of my younger years haunting libraries, consuming ancient alphabets, glyphs, mythology, and lore. Such was my passion, my iconophilia, that at the ripe old age of eleven, I decided that despite the prevalence of Christianity and other like religions, I was Pagan.

My fascination for all things ancient and arcane has since branched out to include magic and all occult aspects of religion. I am a self-trained magus, melding old traditions with newer, so-called chaos magic. My knowledge and theories are reflected in my fiction.

Tattoo is a tale of two sisters. Neither is very well adjusted though both might argue the point. Lori will stop at nothing to get what she wants; Glory will do everything in her power to stop her... if she ever finds her.

Free Range Poetry is a poetry comic. That is, every week I build a picture around a poem, or sometimes build a poem to compliment a picture. Typically I write the poem myself though I do accept requests and the occassional monthly winning poem from CinquainPoets.

I tend to haunt the horror message boards of Myspace and various groups on Tribe.net where I am known as the Mystery Cultist and The Bibliophile, respectively.
