  Howdy, howdy, comic-fans! My name is Jared Moraitis -- lifelong comics fan, ex comic shop manager, and freelance illustrator/writer. I graduated from the illustration program at the Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida. I currently work (long-distance) as a concept artist for Automatic Pictures in Los Angeles. I also continue to do freelance artwork and designs for GORILLA RIOT APPAREL, and other folks! I also like to write stories and create concepts, and I've got many I'm working on, possibly for animated or comic book series. There's too many for me to draw them myself, however, so I'd be interested in hooking up with talented pencillers and colorists to make this happen! What I do mostly, though, is designs for t-shirts, character concepts, pinups and poster design, etc. Creativity practically leaks from my nostrils and oozes from my pores, I'm so backed up with it! Yeah your stuff is really nice. I love the angular, graphic quality to it. It's good to see an illustrator that is very good at lettering and abstract lettering as well as anatomy. Good stuff. Thanks for the friend add. |
