Ya know, there's 2 things about Greedo shooting first that really eats at me every time I see the 'improved' versions...

1. It kills Han's scoundrel image.
2. It makes it hard to accept Greedo as a hired gun. He had Han at point blank, gun leveled at him, and his shot still goes wide right.
