My Avatar is from the 2005 San Diego Comicon! My first, and only, for now!

I'm a drafter/designer by education, and have used this to design all the stuff in my novels. (really the designs before writing) It's not "art," but it's the best I can do with the skills I've been given!

I have been collecting since 1991, starting with the Comico "Robotech" titles. I concentrated mostly on indy titles and small press, but in the last 10 years, I've moved on to Marvel and DC's as my primary collection.

And, I STILL use "dos" Comic Collector 2.0 to keep track of my collection!!! How many people can say that!?

Commons only in my collection, so far... Everybody knows only insiders get keys, or you put a 12th mortgage on your home for "Overhyped Spaztic Freak #1" with the rare upside down foil, ascetate, glow-in-the-dark, nobody has seen the internal pages book!!! Then, Locked inside a titanium/adamantium/forcefield container with a "Claim" of perfect in every way, 10.999 to infinity!!!

What ever happened to the excitement of cracking open a book or magazine and smelling that ink/paper for the first time....then experiencing the contents...OH, THE HORROR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And a shout-out to Mile High Comics and Gary Dolgoff Comics for being my most favorite Back Issue suppliers!!!

On the reading side: Lord of the Rings, Hobbit, Dune, Harry Potter, and Honor Harrington (Honorverse), and Hammer's Slammers...

Also collecting all the "SITS" playing stuff for the Honor Harrinton game!!! The "silvers" of the ships in the stories are so cool, I'd almost have to give up comics, just so I could get everything coming out!!! Almost!!! (by Ad Astra Games) Except, the Bastards took my money and won't return my e-mails now....

On TV: Lost, Heroes, Battlestar Galactica, Medium, Grey's Anatomy, and Criminal Minds. Reality: Survivor and Amazing Race.

Movies: 1.Aliens, 2.Fifth Element, 3.Die Hard, 4.Pitch Black, 5.Star Wars, 6.Bicentennial Man, 7.Galaxy Quest...
