   My Comic Space is dedicated to 'THE PHANTOM' or as much as possible and I will post my Phantom artwork as soon as I can. I am an unpublished artist. (Self taught. No lessons thank you very much...POP!). My biggest influences are Tim Burton, Phantom comics and fantasy (Particularly The Lord Of The Rings books and movies). I am a huge follower of film. I have made a few short films already. My favourite film maker is Tim Burton. Favourite composer is Danny Elfman. But my favourite movie is 'The Lord Of The Rings' (And I did read the book before the movie was released). I started collecting Phantom comics and merchandise back in 1994 when I was 11. The Ghost Who Walks has been my favourite super hero ever since for a few reasons. I discovered him for myself, meaning no comics or anything were handed down to me. Also he is original. Quentin Tarantino wrote in his Kill Bill script that Superman is unique in how he becomes Clark Kent to be indisguise. But The Phantom came first. He was born to be the Phantom and so Kit Walker is his disguise. Also The Phantom lived in a cave before Batman, and his father was killed before Bruce Waynes father. I never saw the draw that people have for Superman because he is too powerful. His weaknesses are too limited. But I do love the Batman character (As long as Joel Schumacher keeps his dirty hands away). THE PHANTOM IS THE BEST....

I just peeped your YOU TUBE animated short.
I thought it was really cool.... but TOO short!
Just as it got going, it ended.... bummer!
I would LOVE to see more (a longer animation) from ya!

Thanks. It was so short because it was a project for my Graphic Arts class at 'Bendigo Regional Institute Of TAFE' and had to be no more than 30 seconds. Everyone else in the class just animated their artwork around the screen but I needed to do something a bit more interesting and nuts. |

Thanks for the add. Your art very, very, very cool. I especially like what you did with the Clive Owen portrait... kep upi the good work and head over to the Chronicle Chamber and start posting there as well.
