| Header: | Rokcomics Competition Shortlist | ||
| Bulletin: | The shortlist for rokcomics $10,000 competition has been announced and I'm delighted to say that six of my toons are on it. There's two Drink Like A Fish toons. The series is being ably illustrated by Toshiro De Smeyter, who's also had several toons from his brilliantly dark cat killing series Scoff placed. Then there's three of my Ups and Downs cartoons - a series about a suicidal guy with incredibly bad luck. And finally there's Eat Me - a series about a vegetarian cannibal, illustrated by Ian Alexander. The competition's being judged by the editor of the Beano, and the winners will be announced next saturday at the Birmingham comics convention. |
