Howdy! My name is Michael and I've been a comics reader since 1976. I'm pretty much solely a DC Comics reader, although at various stages in my career I have portrayed characters created by Marvel (Dr. Doom) and Hanna-Barbera (Fred Flintstone) at Islands of Adventure/Universal Studios Florida, and currently portray a Pixar character, Bruce the Shark, in Walt Disney World's Finding Nemo: The Musical.

I'm a sucker for team books, but have a special fondness for the entire Bat Universe. My all-time favorite character is Barbara Gordon/Batgirl/Oracle, and I own quite an extensive collection of Batgirl memorabilia. One of my pet projects is cataloging every appearance of the Bat-females, with an emphasis on Babs. That catalog can be found HERE!

I'm also a podcaster and host The QCast Connection, one of the most popular gay personal journal podcasts out there (if iTunes is to be believed!). I'm also one of the co-hosts of Dial H for Homo, a new blog and podcast covering comics and comic-related topics with a gay slant.
