As it says above, my name is Jim Johnson. And according to Google, so are a lot of people's.

I'm a freelance writer, and the bulk of my work has been for Comics Buyer's Guide. My main contribution is the review feature Obligatory Fight Scene, which I co-headline every month with Heritage Auctions' John Petty. I also review independent comics each month in CBG.

And that's not all, as they say on the infomercials. I also write the weekly column Ramblings About Comics and Stuff which appears exclusively on CBG's website, CBGXtra. Past and future columns can be found here.

Thanks, Jimmy. It's an authentic Green Lantern ring, or so I was told by the guy on the street corner who sold it to me. It doesn't work, though. I probably just need to find a Power Battery. Yeah, that's it.

Or maybe it's a Kryptonite ring; I don't have my glasses on either . . .
