Canadian writer/artist Raffaele Ienco is a fan of horror and supernatural narratives and has a passion for creating graphic novels such as Only Hope Remained (supernatural thriller from Platinum Studios) and Devoid of Life (science-fiction horror from Image Comics) that explore the fears and loves of human beings.

Born in Italy in 1969, Raff came to Canada at age 4 and found the wonderful world of comics. Their beautiful colors and art and the amazing stories captured his imagination. His love of comics is matched equally by his love of movies and he strives continuously to better understand both mediums to sharpen his storytelling craft.
It is a rare day when he is not jotting down an idea for a new story and you can sometimes catch him frantically writing on the back of an envelope, in the rain, as he hopes to capture inspiration before it quickly slips away.

Among his favorite works are Watchmen, Dark Knight Returns, Elektra: Assassin, Jaws, Carrie and The Matrix.

"Only Hope Remained", the graphic novel, is a supernatural thriller written and drawn by Raff and optioned by Platinum Studios. Publishing date is slated for Fall 2008.

Raff currently lives and works in Toronto, Canada. He has recently finished "Devoid of Life" (science-fiction/horror) and hopes to see it expand into other media especially film.

"Devoid of Life" will be published by Image Comics August 2008.

He is currently working on his latest graphic novel "Manifestations" (supernatural thriller).
