The last person he thought he'd ever see is back, and she needs his help. Suddenly, Tyler McAllister is drawn back into the world that he thought he had left behind — of metahuman espionage and all-too-human betrayal — that nearly cost him his life.

Volumes 1 and 2 of Raised By Squirrels are available at the Web site, where you can also read the latest issues and check out the blog, updated regularly with sneak previews, comics news, and links about art and design.

"Bram and Monica surely now how to put a little indy comic together and Monica’s art style is nothing short of fantastic...I was quickly sucked into The X-Files meets The Ultimates plot." — Ryan McLelland, Newsarama

"The Meehans have taken not only indie, but spy comics to a new height." — Aaron Stueve, Broken Frontier

"Though disguised as a black-and-white book from an unknown publisher, Raised by Squirrels is as slick and engaging a superhero espionage thriller as you'd find in any 'mainstream' book." — Mark Fossen, Focused Totality

"Raised by Squirrels is a superb read, and you can bet your ass you'll want dessert after you've finished devouring it." — Dana Tillusz, comicreaders.com

"All in all, an unforgettable read, with an addictive story and highly enjoyable art." — Dave Baxter, Broken Frontier

"Wow, where was this title hiding! A series that combines a few super powered folks with the spy craft of techno espionage is high concept gold as far as I’m concerned." — Darren Schroeder, Silver Bullet Comic Books

"I'm hooked, I admit it, can't wait to see where this whole thing is going...." — Kevin Bramer, Optical Sloth

"The series has some roots in superhero comics, but it's really more of a terse, fast-moving spy thriller.... Bram has created an intricate web of power, politics, and espionage that he slowly reveals to his characters and his readers as the action unfolds. The artwork by Monica is very good, especially the close-ups, that are beautifully rendered with lots of crosshatching and detail." — Richard Krauss, Midnight Fiction

Pushing to get it to the printer by the end of the year. Updates as I have them. In the meantime, Death, Cold as Steel, a three-part series that takes place in the early days of the SQRL, should be done this week.

Fair warning. You'd be surprised at the number of people who pick the book up, flip through, and put it down, disappointed at the lack of squirrels...
