Header: Kibosh by gosh, and Big Changes
Bulletin: I say kibosh, because that is what has happened to my efforts. During a move out of Europe back to These Grand United States, I stupidly carried a bottle of water in the same bag as my laptop. (The same laptop whereupon my muse is confined to carry out her sentence of making weird drawings and other designs.) Needless to say, the terrorist known as Murphy (who has a law named after him) opened my bottle of water and soaked my Macbook Pro with three inches of standing water, for at least five minutes. It took this long for the water to trickle out of the bag and onto my pants, whereupon I was reduced to fits nearing epileptic proportions. Airport security stoicly looked on.

At this writing, the Macbook is still not repaired to its fullest, despite spending $2000 to essentially replace every component. Hopefully it will be up and running again by the end of the week though.

So, that is my excuse for no longer being a contender in the CBRunway competition, although I am quick to point out to you that one of the very capable designers who was bested my yours truly in what would be my last round, was pulled back in looks very much like a contender for the top spot of the competion- with only two other designers left- both of whom's work I have greatly admired. Spaghettikiss and now the excellent conceptualist Cbrown making his work known to me.

I am, however, very happy to report that another project over at CBR I chanced to participate in has taken a life of its own. A character I created named Ilembe is being used in a new webcomic call Team Africa with other characters created by other posters. It will be very interesting to see what happens there. This will be the first character I have created to be picked up and used by someone else in a sequential story, at least it is the first one in a really long time. It is always a thrill to see my work take on a life of its own- just recently I saw a larger than life billboard on the side of the road bearing a logo I created years ago very prominantly. It is the kind of thing that fills you with pride, but unfortunately, not your wallet with cash.

Privateer... still excited... waiting for script to emerge... Dan Rafter project Food still being actively postponed due to technical problems and lazy streak then..... THEN..... My Story. I have another artist in mind for the big characters... the prelim sketches are phenomenal.

Until then, thanks for reading.
