My name is Ray Goldfield, and I am a twenty-three year old comic book fan and writer. I've been reading comics since I was eight years old, and am obsessed with DC in particular and Marvel to a lesser degree. I read every single ongoing DCU book, especially those by Geoff Johns. Meanwhile, although I'm not pleased with a lot of the decisions Marvel has made lately, there's no denying the quality of some of their books, especially those by Bendis and Brubaker. Comics are my lifeblood and my inspiration. I draw most of the stories I write from something I saw in comics. All I need is that one spark. I've been writing screenplays and short stories since I was eighteen years old, and hope to break into comics, TV, or movies one day.
