Removing Price Stickers from Comic Books...

I heard of other people use a product called "Goo Gone" that removes adhesive. I've been too afraid to use it because is oily so I worry that the comic would be harmed. What these other people say is that you can blot the oil with paper towels. I've also heard of boiling water in a kettle and trying to use the steam to remove the stickers. I've never tried this method either.
What I have done before is use the stickers themselves. Once you take the sticker off, if there is any leftover "goo" just put the sticker on it and take it off. The "goo" will stick to the sticker rather than the cover and come off. You may have to do this a couple of times to get all of the "goo" off. Remember just lightly press it on and rip it off immediately, it should come off.
