First things first, I should warn you all that I am an arrogant asshole. I make no apologies for this. I feel false modesty to be one of the worst conceits in the world. Now that you've been warned, proceed at your own risk.

I don't draw a comic myself. I'm just a very big fan of comics and animation in all of the various forms.

Due to my ventures into the bowels of Dragon*Con, I've been lucky enough to appear in "walk-in" roles in a couple of webcomics over the years.

Seems I am also the basis of a character in a soon-to-be webcomic which delves into the Buffalo goth scene. I don't know whether I should be honoured to be "BrickJAK Bouncerpants" or if I should pound the artist into a gooey paste. I'll veer towards the former because I love the guy to death.

I appreciate all the adds that have been requested of me in the ... HOURS I've been a member here. But don't hold your breath on me accepting those requests or for me to add any of you to my friends list. There's a criteria that I have here, the same as the one I have in MySpace, Livejournal etc etc etc:

1.) You're the artist of a comic that I enjoy.
2.) You maintain a fansite of a comic I enjoy.
3.) You're a friend of mine already ( online or off ).
4.) Something about your page fascinates me.

If you're not one of the above, chances are that your request to add will be staying in my inbox ... mostly ignored. No offense meant to any of the rest of you. But I don't view this as a popularity contest. I'm in no hurry to rack up "friends". And if I think you're trying to add me simply for a higher rating ... forget it.

Told you all I was an asshole.
