I've been seriously collecting comics since about 1992. I'm mainly a DC guy. Batman has been my favorite character for as long as I can remember. I also developed a love for Jonah Hex and El Diablo from reading their adventures in old issues of Weird Western Tales my uncle gave me from his collection.

My favorite writers are Chuck Dixon, Beau Smith and Gail Simone. My favorite artists are Graham Nolan and Scott McDaniel.

Some of my current favorite books are Batman and the Outsiders, Detective Comics, Nightwing, Robin, Jonah Hex, Fables, Y - The Last Man, The Lone Ranger and Zorro. Some of my all-time favorites are Airboy, Astro City, Cobb, Batman: The Long Halloween, Blaze of Glory, Brath, El Cazador, The Joker: Devil's Advocate, Samurai: Heaven and Earth, Shooting Star Comics Anthology, Winter World and Wynonna Earp.

I'm not an artist at all and don't delude myself into thinking I am. I have done logo designs for some books, though, that turned out pretty good. Unfortunately with a toddler in the house now it's near impossible for me to do them anymore. I do like to dabble with some writing. But most of my stuff is in the very, very early stages and probably will never progress beyond that (again with the toddler). Maybe I'll eventually get around to at least completing those stories. Even if they never get published I'd like the statisfaction of seeing them completed.
