Thanks for visiting.

I was born in Blackpool - a costal resort in England famed for its miniature Eiffel Tower, run-down theme park and many drunk tourists - but now I live in London, in the shadow of two prisons.

After writing and illustrating my first novella when I was 7 years old (all 10 pages of it), I kept writing horror and science fiction short stories, and made few attempts to write novels, while I was growing up.

I decided that writing was my vocation, so I pursued a career in journalism. After university, I got a job at one of the UK’s biggest magazine publishers, and there I've stayed.

Since I began writing comics, I've been a columnist for Scryptic Studios, the story editor for Myriad – the bimonthly anthology from Approbation Comics – and wrote Syndrome. Syndrome is now in production in partnership with Pulp Theatre Entertainment.

For more news on Syndrome, please visit the Syndrome blog.

In my Gallery you'll find the pages from my 3x3x3 portfolio. I wrote (and lettered) each story. You can find more of my scripts at my online portfolio.

I'm currently available for writing and story editing duties.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Dark Horse)
Astonishing X-Men (Marvel)
Squadron Supreme (Marvel)

Hi, how are you? Our studio recently put a new site up. pencily.com is a great source of inspiration for illustrators, animators and designers, so I hope you find it as useful as we do!

All the best,

Been offline. Not writing much. Got a social life. Nearly died. That about covers what I've been doing.

Syndrome does look good doesn't it? I can't wait to see the internal art either.

Hi there.

Great idea that 3x3. Wish I'd thought of it :)

I wish I had as well, but it was Joe Q (I think) at Marvel who first came up with the idea. See here: http://tinyurl.com/2p4qg9.
