Hi, how are you? Our studio recently put a new site up. pencily.com is a great source of inspiration for illustrators, animators and designers, so I hope you find it as useful as we do!
All the best,

Been offline. Not writing much. Got a social life. Nearly died. That about covers what I've been doing.
Syndrome does look good doesn't it? I can't wait to see the internal art either. |

Hi there.
Great idea that 3x3. Wish I'd thought of it :)
Cheers

I wish I had as well, but it was Joe Q (I think) at Marvel who first came up with the idea. See here: http://tinyurl.com/2p4qg9.

Thanks for the add! Glad you enjoyed Jambo... just been reading through a couple of your stories, especially liked the Ultimate Cloak & Dagger script, wish I could draw well enough to do it justice, maybe one day I'll have a go heh 1 Reply [ Latest posted on June 4th, 2007 5:58 PM ]

Thanks. Glad you liked the script.
Maybe that same day you get good enough to do UCD, Joe Q will get in touch asking "Say, you know that Ultimate Cloak & Dagger script you wrote a while back..."
Sad thing is I've got a couple of story arcs planned out.
On the other hand, until then I'm unlikely to get lynched by a posse of C&D fanboyze. Which is a good thing. |

You came across as a passionate and knowledgable manga-ka. Not hyperactive and eccentric in the least! ;> |

Hi Richard. Thanks for your kind words.
I like your gallery!
If you found darik.co.uk nice, maybe you would find it even nicer to try out the "Darik Reader" - a full-screen application with everything on the darik-site, and then some. Personally, I think the Reader is the real thing, because the graphics work so much better full screen. (links and info on my page)
Look forward to seeing more of your stuff along the way! 2 Replies [ Latest posted on April 22nd, 2007 7:15 PM ]

Thanks for your words. Good to see the 3x3x3s work out.
The Darik Reader sounds interesting, but I can't use it: I'm a Mac guy.

Yeah, that's true, it's a PC thing. Just shows that you are more alert than me : ) |

One of the reasons I haven't been around is my PC's hard drives died.
They took every project I was working on, including all the artwork for comics I was working on, all the scripts and proposals, contact details for artists and creators, and website addresses.
In short, I lost everything.
I learned my lesson - now I have a Mac, and I make regular backups of its hard drive. |

Well I did nearly die last year, but it was nothing to do with terrorists. I didn't swear off the internet, but I did move home and make a bunch of friends who forced be to develop a social life. So now I get out more, online less, and on forums never, and got out of writing. But I'm also getting back into writing comics. Once I secure a decent artist, Harrowing will come out later this year. |

Wow! Hey Rich, welcome back from the DEAD. Dude, seriously, I suspected terrorists and was trying to raise money for a rescue mission. Glad to see you escaped! |

Hey Richard -- thanks for the add. Neither Dan or I had talked to you in so long, we figured you'd sworn off the internet! |
