Continuing my report about messaging problems.

I only get the little blue reply arrow at the highest level of comments. In my own comments, as well as others'. For example, it seems that I can answer my own initial comment on you page, but not your reply to it. Either there's something really wrong in my eyesight, or the blue arrows just don't appear in replies. I've seen long reply threads from other people so there's gotta be a way to answer replies, I just can't find it.

Also, when I click the "friends" tab on my page, I get a page that says "personal messages" and contains messages people have sent to me with their befriendifications. But I see no way to reply to those messages while I friend them back. I can only message them separately afterwards, which is cumbersome, since the messages get deleted when I "answer" them with adding those people back.

Additionally, I see no 'reply to message' links in the private messages page. I seem to be able to reply a private message only when I first view it. If I go to the private messages page after that, there is no "reply to message" or "message" link. I have to go to my friends page, search the person's icon and click the little send message link. Which is bad user experience. I'm used to missing obvious stuff but either I'm blind or the user interface isn't working like it should.

I'm on XP and use Firefox (updated). But it's the same on Powerbook at work.

Oh, and I received a notification about seven new replies to my comments, but when I came to the site, there were none? (Sorry if that's a known glitch.)

Sorry for this long comment. I wouldn't have written such a detailed description unless the site wouldn't otherwise look so promising.

So you can continue the thread so to speak by again clicking on the reply icon for the original comment. The messages that accompany befriendifications are attached to the friends table and are completely independant of private messages. I plan to modify this to make them true private messages during the next friends list revision. I haven't had anyone else complain that the "Reply to Message" link is missing. That's strange. The link should be at the top and bottom of the page when you are reading the provate message. The only way it wouldn't be there is if the user was no longer a friend or the account was removed. You should also see a "Delete Message" link at the top and bottom. Replies to comments you post will be visible on your "View Comments > From rhia" page ( http://www.comicspace.com/rhia/comments. php?type=from ). Did the notification send you to that page or your main page?

I'm now wondering whether the reply to message link is missing from the private messages page because I've already replied to all of those messages? It's rather counter intuitive that you can't send a private message from the page that is labelled private messages, except to reply one. And that you can't send several replies to one message.

Hey Josh! Just wanted to thank you for creating this space, and mention the one critique I have: replying to messages and comments is unbelievably difficult. When I read a friend's comment that is directed at me, I expect to be able to reply to it. And I can't seem to find a way to do that! I haven't been able to figure out how to reply to private messages or to people's replies to my own comments. If there is a way to do that, it should be more intuitive.

Aside from that, things seem to work smoothly!
