tokyo heat and where's the rice? comics
were inspired by:
my favorite: sinfest
also sweet: exploitation now
and: road waffles
classic: living in greytown
tastefully done:sexy losers
who could forget: bunny war and bunny lust

a little bit about myself:
i enjoy sleeping, eating food, and going back to sleep.
i enjoy being with my lovely girlfriend.
i enjoy drawing.
i don't care for heroin withdraw.
i don't care for assholes.
i don't care for painful-cold weather.

a little bit about "where's the rice?":
it's about my life during and shortly after high school.
it's about heavy drug use. real, exagerated, and imaginary.
it's about apathy, confusion, and realization.
it doesn't make much sense.
it is mostly based on real events.
it won't solve your problems or pay my bills.

a little bit about "tokyo heat":
it's got no discernable plot or storyline.
it's got a lot of blood, fire, and murder.
it's a running psychological test
it doesn't have any dialogue or speech
it is not based on real events
it might one day pay my bills

that said:
these comics proably cater to a very specific audience, do try to enjoy them, but if you can't then you probably didn't kill enough brain cells when you were a teenager. dont worry tho, its a good thing.

the future:
i've always planned to have both where's the rice and tokyo heat return in some form.
tokyo heat will probably be continued in the form of a political/espionage/psychological/action/scifi type monster, including dialogue. the form that it was in can progress no further, even having more then one re-occuring character strayed a bit from its essence, which was pure action/mayhem.
where's the rice is inextricably linked to a specific time in my life, thus the tone that it takes cannot be replicated; any continuation wouldn't be in the spirit of the originals (which were done 3 or 4 years ago). although i would like to make a where's the rice sequel, if i do it will not be the same.
i've been toying around with a few other comic concepts, although i'll reserve those ideas until some fruitation.
