Hi my name's Richard Ian Bird i've been a comic book fan, reader, collector most of my life and in the past worked at Krypton Komics And Books when i lived in London.
I hope to post here the art work for the cover designs of my own comic book series Home-made Heroes.
I have been working on this pet project for many years and the first series is 12 issues long and deals with the advents surrounding the life of an outdated superhero.
After writing and editing the stories (and drawing a few pieces of artwork, all with a bit of help from my Transformers mad wife Carole)i have copyrighted the stories, purchased the domain name and hopefuly soon the first series will be available on line as ebooks through my own web site which is in the process of being set up*

When it comes to writing i may not be the next Stan Lee, and when it comes to drawing i may not be the next Jack Kirby but i love comicbooks and superheroes, some of my best childhood memories (plus a few as an adult) are connected to the world of comics.
