I'm a comics fan considering becoming a wannabe comics writer. Emphasize on "considering" and "wannabe". Fav comics include Ultimates, Ultimate Fantastic Four, Astonishing X-Men, Justice League of America, Ex Machina and a couple of thousand others. Like every other 14-year old girl you can find me on MySpace. I also usually hang out at millarworld. I'm currently finishing the script for "Legion of 2" to be published by FailComics in 2007. The two-part series is about two U.S. soldiers stranded on an island in the Pacific during WWII and left there for 25 years. It's going to make Garth Ennis look like a sissy boy.

High praise indeed. That spirit of "music (and the musicians that make it, by extension) being the only thing that matters" is a big part of the comic and the character.
For a crash-course in the Replacements, I highly recommend picking up Let It Be, their final indie release, and their major label follow up Tim. Talk about a ride...! |
