The Sheena cover on display over at newsarama!

http://forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=106997

Though I had to correct them on who the artist was...

Hey Marvelgirl!

The Atlas Era hardcovers are really nice though a tiny bit expensive. When are you guys going to give Tales to Astonish, Tales of Suspense, Strange Tales, Journey into Mystery etc the Essential treatment?

We've gotten Essential Tales of the Zombie but no Essential Tales to Astonish. It's a crime against humanity, I tells ya! The world needs affordable reprints of giant monster, flying saucers and alien invasions drawn by Kirby and Ditko. Market them at sci-fi cons and the Atomic Age movie fans will buy them by the buss load.

Please help make the world a better place!

That Sheena cover is just awesome!

What amazes me is how you can be so good, and yet still keep getting better all the time!

Keep it up!

Thanks for the add!

Being an X-Men editor officially makes you one of of the most powerful beings in the universe. Not only the MU, but the real universe too.

Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the add, myspace friend!

It might look like I'm stalking you, but I'm really not. Honest.

Also, just clicked on the link to your site and now I'm blushing.

Don't know how to put it other than: You. Damn. Hot.

You're reading some good books there. Me, I'm just loving JSoA and JLoA to bits right now (grew up reading the Satellite era stuff and when you mix Identity Crisis with Red Tornado you just can't go wrong).

And I'm loving Morrison's Batman and Astonishing X-Men. Haven't really read Teen Titans since the Wolfman/Perez run, but I ordered a bunch of trades just the other day...

So many books, so little time and money.

I so know the feeling. I have more titles than the list on the page. I was trying to get rid of some stuff and it still didn't even work. Satellite era? Sorry, i'm a late bloomer when it comes to comics. I ordered some shirts the other day. :)

[ Posted by richardnilsson on Jan 10th, 2007 9:32 PM ]...

Satellite era was sometime in the mid-70s when Zatanna, Red Tornado and Firestorm joined the team. Meltzer obviously loves this period and sort of retconned it in Identity Crisis.

Shirts are nice. You can try to wear comic books instead of shirts, but rain tends to ruin even the hardcovers. I would not recommend this.

:) I stumbled upon a site of someone who made comic book pages into handbags. I just have this thing for female superhero shirts. Although I did get myself a Spiderman shirt. Oh the joy of Previews.

Thanks for the add, Bill!

Fables truly is the new Sandman. Or maybe Sandman was the old Fables. Either way, you keep that magic coming.

Just ordered a Robin TPB and I'm THIS close to picking up Days of Vengeance and Shadowpact.

There's a new MC in town and she works at Marvel.

Keep doing your stuff!

Recognized you from the Atomic Thinktank, where I used to hang out a few years back under the name Kid Karnivore. Wrote some stuff about a European super team and contributed a few characters for the Tsunami Relief project.

Anyhoo, hope 2007 is treating you well so far!

It's just incredible how narrow minded some people can be. Saying that someone who reads comics should be or look a certain way is like saying you can only watch sports if you're athletic or listen to heavy metal if you've got long hair. Just ignore them.

Happy New Year!

I agree!

But I also disagree.

I disagree about ignore them. Because if you ignore them. That let them win. If you stand up to bully-sometimes bully runs away.

And that is reason why I made public the comments I have got from some people here. It is so other people know that this prejudice and negative beliefs are still out there-even inside of people that you think are friends.

Wow, your stuff's f**king AMAZING!

There are a lot of artists who can draw superheroes and manga, but not too many who can actually draw people.

By this time next year you're working on high-profile projects in the big league, I'm sure of it.

Happy New Year!

Thanks for the encouragement Richard, I'll keep my fingers crossed bud. The respect and friendship of those around me is a big enough league however;-)

Yeah, I remember reading the Wolfman/Perez run when I was like 10 and wishing I was Robin so Starfire would be my girlfriend. But then she started dating that guy who was a drug dealer. Broke my heart...

Take care!

Is it true that you're going to change the name to ifanman?! ;)

Personally I think Cory and Dick should get back together. Just saying.

Happy New Year!

Thanks for the add, Nicola!

Having lurked around the creative forum on millarworld for a year or so I felt almost like a proud parent reading BoP #100: "Our baby girl drew that!"

Keep up the good work and continue to dazzle us!
