Alright, Comic Space, how neat. Well then I'll say what most people would want to know.

Hello, I'm Marina *aka* Rina-ran. I currently do one webcomic titled
Within Shadows. It's read right to left and toned like eastern manga. I'm starting to color the eyes in for fun, so there's that splash of color in there. Not much...but there.
The story follows Rale, a boy who has fallen into his own shadow while on a search for his brother. He's now stranded on a strange island and surrounded by a colorful range of characters.
It's a land where weretigers roam, angels rage battle, and cookies can stop wars. Mysteries lurk in the shadows, and he just happens to be in them. Your usual action fantasy with light humor and possibly some romance further down the road.

I owe all the inspiration for this comic to the members of TSL Forums. They were the first people who treated me nicely online, and through them I've learned how to roleplay and understand the online world. The forum has dwindled down to only 10 or so members (possibly less), but it's still running and we're all being our creative little selves.
90% of the character cast in WS are characters made by different members or I've based them off of old member's names. I know it's not always the wisest choice to make a comic with a cast not created by yourself, but I have yet to run into a major problem. The comic has no future plans of being published or sold. It's strictly a hobby of mine and free entertainment for my readers and the members of TSL.

I plan on creating another comic next year or the year after. It'll be read left to right and fully colored. This story I will hope to print one day. I hope some may look forward to it.
