About me:
I'm a veteran journalist and not-so-veteran comic book writer. But I'm working on that. I've been a staff writer with the Daily Herald in suburban Chicago since 1993. I've also written for the Miami Herald, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, Wizard magazine, Chicago magazine, the Advocate, North Shore magazine, www.comicbookresources.com and many other magazines and Web sites. As for comics, my credits include BATMAN ALLIES SECRET FILES AND ORIGINS 2005 and multiple issues of THE BATMAN STRIKES!, both for DC Comics. I also wrote the lead story in the upcoming HOPE: NEW ORLEANS, a fund-raising anthology published by Ronin Studios that will benefit the Southeast Louisiana chapter of the Red Cross.

As 2007 comes to an end and 2008 looms on the horizon, I'll be focusing heavily on THE BATMAN STRIKES. In fact, as of today, I have six or seven scripts waiting to be penciled for the title, all to come out in 2008-09.
