Inanna's Tears needs YOU to help us Draw Down the
Goddess!

In celebration of completing the online serialization
of their graphic novel, Inanna's Tears,
co-creators Rob Vollmar and mpMann are putting out a
call for drawings of the series' main character, the
Goddess Inanna herself!

Inanna's Tears, a proto-historical tragedy set in
ancient Sumer, began online at Modern Tales.com on
January 1st and will conclude its fifth and final act
at the end of May.

The archive containing the entire graphic novel will
remain available until the end of June. In August,
fans can pick up the print edition of Inanna's Tears.
A five-issue, bi-monthly mini-series collecting the
complete story will be released by Archaia Studio
Press.

Writer Rob Vollmar notes that, "In Inanna's Tears, the
people of Birith, like many of their not-so-fictional
contemporaries, worshipped the Goddess Inanna through
the power of her image, replicated in ways big and
small across their culture. We believe that we have
contributed to that tradition of worship by telling
this story in the comics medium.

In that same sense, we wanted to give others a chance
to create a small devotional of their own for the
Queen of Heaven by drawing her and, if so inclined,
sending it to us. Our favorites will be included in
the print edition of Inanna's Tears and their creators
will receive all five print issues of the Inanna's
Tears comic book for free!

Interested parties are invited to send their love
offerings along with their name, address, and
preferred contact information to marv @ cosmorynth.com
and should be at 300 dpi to facilitate future print
reproduction.
