filmmaker / writer / cinematographer and avid reader

I have a dark suburban horror story that I'm going to produce episodically starting at the first of the year. To sum it up... Drugs, Death, The Afterlife, Resurrection, and New Jersey.

My wife and I have a NY based production company, Poecat Productions, and are currently editing our first feature film "For The Love of Pudding," which is based on an award-winning short, which was screened at this past Festival de Cannes, we made last spring.

Another film I made a few years ago is "Alice Underground," which is a modern interpretation of "Alice in Wonderland" set in New York City. This film was shot entirely in Digital Still Photography, which at the time (1999) was a little time consuming to edit. In the end, the film contains well over 15,000 images that are strung together as they dissolve into each other and are often times double, triple, or even quadruple exposed. The final product is pretty cool looking, and my actors were amazing. It won a few awards in 1999 and 2000, and was even invited to screen at the Hamptons International Film Festival a year or two before they started accepting Digital films competitively.

The trailer you posted to youtube is very very professional. I posted there about it: "This is a very good trailer! Nothing short of professional, good acting, specially good editing, it seems like a very nice story too! I would definitely recommend you submit this to liberatedfilms(dot)com. Its quality work."
Glad to have another filmmaker in my friend's list!
