| Header: | Greensburg, Kansas comic benefit? | ||
| Bulletin: | Most of you have probably heard about Greensburg, Kansas, the small town that was essentially wiped out by a recent tornado. Now admittedly, this isn't as big as Katrina, but it's still a disaster, and people are suffering. I was thinking that perhaps we comics people could do some sort of benefit for them--perhaps a webcomic-athon much like Blank Label did for Katrina victims. I have server space and software, etcetera to set it up, and could have things up and running in under a day. If anyone has a better idea, though, I'm open to it. The idea would be that we all put big banners on our sites leading to the comic-thon, and those who read it would be encouraged to donate through a banner link we'd provide at the top of the page. As a side benefit, of course everyone who participates would be listed, both on a contributor's page and on comic they submit. So... What do you guys think? |
