I am the artist, co-writer, and creator of the indie comic Perfect Storm, which as of January 1st will be released monthly on the web site perfectstormcomic.com. I also work as Dick Giordano's assistant, and am currently inking The Miserable Dastards, a 4 issue mini-series drawn by Jeremy Dale for Dial "C" for Comics. Here is the news that you have been waiting for- Where and when can you start seeing new Perfect Storm pages? Starting January 1st, and on the first of each month from then on, we will be serializing the Perfect Storm graphic novel on this site! This story tells the origin of our girl Erin- Written by Gary Carbon, with art and colors by Rob Jones, and edited by Dick Giordano. We also have a special treat: a cover by Brian Stelfreeze, which you can see below... Cover? You say... But it's now a web strip? Well, when the story is complete it is going to be collected and offered for sale on the site and at conventions, and also through Diamond so you will be able to pick it up at your local comic shop. Until then, we are going to enjoy working in this new form- Being able to expand the story where we see fit and letting scenes play out at their own pace, and when the story is complete we will collect it, not having to worry about each issues page count... Each month we are going to have contests and give-a-ways too, because we want this to be a very active, fan-friendly site. Any ideas or things you want to see on the page?
