| Bulletin: | PRESS RELEASE - ALL NEW PERFECT STORM COMIC RELEASED ONLINE! January 1st, 2009- Today saw the release of the first 5 pages of a new Perfect Storm graphic novel on the web site www.perfectstormpublishing.com On the first of each month 5 more pages will be released, culminating in the publication of the complete story line as a graphic novel. "We figure rather then make people wait a year for a new Perfect Storm project we would release a little each month." said creator and artist Rob Jones. The story, written by Gray Carbon, tells the tale of Erin Storm's last job for the F.B.I. and what lead to her leaving. "It's some of Gary's best writing so far, and I look forward to getting each arc's plot! He's helped improve the character so much and taken her in directions I could never have dreamed of." said Jones. Joining Rob and Gary is comic's legend Dick Giordano, who's editorial guidance has helped the emerging creators craft a tightly spin story, and artist Brian Stelfreeze who provided the graphic novel it's painted cover. "Brian did an amazing job on the cover and provided a step-by-step on how he did it for us to use on the site. Both he and Dick have helped shape the artwork and story, and we could not be luckier to work with them!" Along with new story pages each month they will be publishing pin-ups and sketches from artists gathered at conventions or commissioned by members of the creative team, and running contests and giveaways for readers. To read the first 5 pages visit the official Perfect Storm site at: www.perfectstormpublishing.com |
