Ok- bit about me then!

Started drawing comics in Glasgow in 1989 for Scottish humour comic "Electric Soup" alongside Frank Quitely. One claim to fame I have is that I gave his sample photocopies of 3 pages of Batman he drew around at UKCAC in London when he had to leave early- the rest is history- and yes I still have a few of the copies I didn't give away.

A few years later after finishing at Glasgow School of Art and still drawing comics to save getting a real job, Robbie Morrison, Jim Alexander, Frank Quitely and I with 2 comic strips we created headed down to London for UKCAC again and left selling both to Dark Horse and me eventually drawing s chapter of "Lobo bounty hunting for fun and profit"

I got the job on Stan Lee's Excelsior line- which never made it out- drawing the lead book "Omega" written by Kurt Busiek. Job lasted a few years but it got canned when Marvel was doing that kind of thing. Same happened with a few other projects over the years and I was getting a little sick of it all so took a break. Work that did see the light of day included "Shimura" "Sinister Dexter" "Maniac 5", "Mean Machine" and that "Havok" insert thing for 2000ad, Work for Dark Horse and some other stuff I can't remember. I was kept fairly busy during my time in comics.

I now find myself a very busy Film Storyboard and concept artist having worked on films like "Land of the Dead" with George Romero- cool job that!, "Resident Evil Apocalypse", "16 Blocks", "Four Brothers" and "Dark Water" to name a few you might have heard of. Some upcoming films I worked on are "Hairspray" and "Jumper"- which you WILL have heard of when it comes out. Recently was asked to work on Hellboy 2 but had to turn it down due to a new addition to my family. Shame cos it would have been great but family comes first!







May do some comics again one day. Still not quite done with them but no idea when I will have the time
