Hi!

I'm a writer who produced the long-running and well-loved UK small-press title THE JOCK back in the 90's (is it really that long ago?) along with a bunch of other books. Since then I've been working on a number of writing projects outside of comics, but I'm looking to get back into comic writing in a big way in 2007, with a number of strips planned, from 1-page humour comics to slice-of-life to multi-part hyponchondriac super-hero epics. And 'Fool You Are', a sitcom involving a confused hypochondriac who discovers he can foresee the future. Not dramatic glimpses of nuclear war, plane crashes or presidential assassinations though - instead the future of his own romantic and sexual relationships. Try going on a first date when you keep getting glimpses of the arguments and bitter break-ups that lie ahead!

It's great to see 'The Jock' back Rol. We all know that it was the small press sensation of the 90's. Here's hoping it will be in the naughties as well.... Nige's artwork has improved considerably (and that's saying something) it's a lot crisper and smoother, if that makes sense?
