Hi, I started working in comics shortly after college. I did various things for various publishers (DC, Marvel, Dark Horse and many companies lost to the longbox graveyard) for several years. I eventually grew tired of the growing desperation in the industry as the last century drew to a close and ran away to do illustration for even more varied a list of clients. Many still in business today! I still love comics (why would I be here if I didn't), and all my pals still working in the trenches tell me the industry has shaped up considerably over the last few years -- so ya never know. . . . Currently, I'm still an illustrator, and I've also recently finished teaching drawing, comic art and illustration at an exclusive art and animation school in Toronto. Website? Gah -- don't remind me; I'm paying for the url, but still haven't done a thing with it. I keep telling myself, "Maybe next week I'll get started. . . "Deviant gallery Place-holder web site. Nice stuff on the new Deviant Gallery. Some of it is in Brom territory (the Planet of the Apes character) but the one one I liked best was the Spider Alien. Very Kelly Freas in the graphic handling of the texture. 1 Reply [ Latest posted on March 29th, 2007 9:02 AM ]

I like the spider-alien better than the apes piece, too, but one was a result of an assignment, the other something I wanted to do from within.

Pardon this pre - written/fourm Seasons Greetings, as always we wish for peace on earth, and in this New Year may you have the wisdom to drink no more than one glass of alcohol for every too of alcohol and not drive… er, no.
That’s water.
One of alcohol and 2 of water- yah - so as to not get a bad hangover due to over conviviality.
And maybe a nice bit of nosh too, a bit of nuts and cheese.
And hey, some roasted meat or appropriate vegetarian substitute - but not tofurky, god that stuff is awful - so you don’t puke and look green like the other day at my friends place – the water that is, so you don’t puke - and the nosh so there is something solid to soak it all up with, bread with it all is really the best - her poor roommate I saw there while waiting to go to the bus station.
And yah, don’t forget to not spend your buss or taxi money on all that like I did once - stick it in your shoe or something, unless you expect to loos those at some point. What was I saying?
