I'm an aspiring writer, working on my first comic. A Crime Noir book that hopefully, when I get my shit together, I'll self-publish.

Any writing advice would be appreciated.

Some of my influences creatively are Brian Michael Bendis, David Mack, Ed Brubaker , Brian K. Vaughan, Joss Whedon, Chuck Palahnik, Bill Hicks, and George Carlin.


Some of my current favorite comics are.. Powers, Kabuki, Y The Last Man, Daredevil, New Avengers, Runaways, The Boys, Astonishing X-Men.
I just started reading Fell and Crossing Midnight, both great books. I'm also currently working my way through Sandman.

As you probably can tell, I'm a big marvel fan. But I do love indy comics, I just can't afford many.
