I began seriously drawing in the third grade developing numerous comic strips. By the time I was twelve years old I wanted to be the youngest animator in history to complete a full length animated feature completely solo. Although I made a valiant effort the dream never became fully realized.

I have made a very serious study of drawing, painting, illustration and comic book art. By the time I was fifteen he had completed a course in drawing at the Athenaeum in downtown La Jolla. In 1995 I completed the entire foundational art program at the University of Utah and had my portfolio accepted to the Art Institute of Chicago.

Attending art school was more limiting than it was a means of freeing my abilities. Feeling a great deal of conflict with the idea of art being taught in a formal educational setting I chose to no longer peruse art training and have continued to develop my abilities on my own.

Today I am a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Coach and a Pro-Trainer in the Crazy Monkey Defense Program in Carlsbad California. My gym is called Rot Iron Sports.
