Hey Tom! Saw you briefly at the IDW panel at WWLA. Cool about the writing gig! But I'm sorry didn't get a chance to actually snag you for a chat.

(I did not realize - or at least don't remember if I knew - that you were from Michigan. I grew up in Jackson!)

Jackson, Michigan, eh? I had good friends from there -- used to go there a lot.

:)

Sorry I missed you at WWLA. Hopefully we'll get a chance to talk in San Diego this year. Looking forward to it!

Best,

Tom Waltz

That's one FABU cover there, Geoff! Well worth waiting for! Cool! Good luck with the book!

Hey, hey Heystacy!

What are you up to at present? Anything new cooking?

ComicSpace has become a great networking think. So many interesting stuff to check out, that I wouldn't have run across otherwise.

Currently I am working on submitting a limited series to perspective publishers. So many things to get together; proposal, series synopsis, cast list, and script (eight pages at least-I finished the whole series). I am doing my final draft now.

Great news about WHITEOUT: THAW! Look forward to seeing your work on it!

Whee! More FLYTRAP!!!

Very funny too. Maddy manages them well (almost said handled, but that would be playing their game, wouldn't it?).

But I'm glad to see it!

Hey, Hutch! Welcome to ComicSpace! Thanks for the add, and good luck on your endeavors.

Enjoyed the Harry Potter blog, Blake! Very funny.

And I have to say that a friend of mine did a study of the set-ups and pay-offs in the HP books, in order to determine which things haven't been paid off yet. She's got some interesting speculations on what might be in the last book.

It can be found at Amazon: What Will Harry Do? by Janet Scott Batchler.

Me, I'm looking forward to the finale. And I'll be willing to accept the ending of a well-told tale. But I suspect I might be in the minority. Heh.

I'm with you there -- All I want is a good ending, and I've got faith in Rowling to give it to us.

I'll take a look for that book, sounds interesting.

Congrats on the award for LTB, Mike!

Dang! Now I REALLY have to go find me a copy! (It's on my list, just haven't gotten to it yet.) The more I read about it, the more I want to read it. (Which is the "drawback" of this site -- finding so much cool stuff. Heh.)

Thanks, Sarah. Hit up your LCS for a copy. :)

Boy! Jumped on the Gallery bandwagon, didn't you? Heh.

Good to see your work up, Gordon! Best always!

The only thing about the gallery is I could only use art from my photo section--my scans seem to be too large!

What kind of ads are you thinking of for your comic book? Full page? Half? Quarter? One-eighth? (Depending on rate, I might consider that and send my business card as the camera-ready copy... that sort of thing.)

I'm looking for anything from 1/4 page to full page ads.

Hi Chuck! Since I'm dropping the note all over the place....

I just updated my website, and posted a review of the TPB of IRON GHOST! I mean, why the heck not?!? ;)

Hopefully you'll get some sales from it. Heh.

Love your site as well!!

Hey Tom! Nice pages!

As for... whatsisname... Rollknee? Blubber? .... what do I know about him? More than I want to!

And proving that the comics world is small, I know Danika & Lance from before them getting Nocturnal Essence up! Heh. And I'm not even in Chicago!

But good work on the book, and the other stuff. ;)

Got PHANTOM #14! I'm enjoying it! (Had to put it down to get to work today, boo work.)

Good show! (I may PM other notes to you later.)

Thanks for picking it up, Sarah. :) Please, let me know what you think when you're done with it.

[ Posted by sarahbeach to GailSimone on Jan 18th, 2007 3:11 PM ]...

Read the latest issue of BOP, Gail, and you rock! As always. Pfft. ;)

Thought the Lois/Barbara encounter terrific. And was really surprised at how much I liked the combination of Manhunter & Gypsy! I'm still in mourning for Dinah's absence, but those two have a nice zing together. Barda is ... Barda.

I liked it. (Putting it mildly.)

Thanks for the bulletin about NIGHT DRIVER! I'm going to make a note of it and see if I can get a copy next week at the shop. If not, I'll either ask them to order one (or some) or order it straight from Moonstone.

Looking forward to it. I'd liked the preview last summer.

Rock on, Geoff! This can be a very, very cool networking place. And the things Josh is adding bit by bit will make it even better.

Anyone patronizing Golden Apple is all-right in my book.

I'd emailed Ryan, and then told him again yesterday, that they need to get on ComicSpace. They sooooo need to be here.

[ Posted by sarahbeach to Josh on Jan 2nd, 2007 2:12 AM ]...

Happy New Year, Josh! You're doing great work, in a really short time, so I'm willing to wait on the great features you've got planned. Alreadly the networking stuff has turned out to be very cool.

So, you've got a REALLY BIG THANKS from me! Keep it up.

Greetings oh Great Trivia Whiz!

You'll get the hang of this as time goes on, Gordo, my friend! I have hopes of the place being useful down the road. Right now... not a bad start-up for contacts.

Hi Steve, and thanks for the add! Missed seeing you in San Diego last summer. Are you going to list your con appearances here in ComicSpace?

That's a really good idea! Right now, of course, I'm not confirmed for anything, but, yeah, absolutely.

With any luck, I'll also get my dinosaur of a webpage redesigned and updated.
