Savage Monsters began in 2000 as a playful project that could also double as a portfolio for Dave Savage. Monsters are always fun to draw, although he does draw other things. He has no idea what to do with much of his work, like the 500 or so paper bag puppets that are in his attic. Currently, there are no estimates to how many post-it note doodles and little yellow sketch books he has stashed in his Secret Lair. Dave Savage has lived too many places...raised in suburban Kansas City, MO, he's also lived in Atlanta, GA, Hoboken, NJ and Washington, DC. His current Secret Lair is on the outskirts of Cleveland. He works for a company that makes greeting cards.
