Alright, it's time to update this place and tell you all about who I am and what I do, I guess.

In between putting my nose to the grindstone in a custom frame shop and planning an imminent wedding to my beautiful fiancé, Angela, I work on comic book art, illustration, and the long, slow, hard road of publishing my own comic.

My background: I attended the University of Manitoba, School of Art and graduated with a BFA. For my thesis in Fine Arts I was one of the last standing comic artists (of my year), who somehow managed to stick to my guns and continue with comic illustration. I created a short graphic novel about magic and the supernatural in the modern world and printed in an extremely limited run. Since then I went to working with my good friend and former UofM Fine Arts student, Greg Waller, digitally colouring comics. Although we worked for many well established publishers, we both still had the creative itch to create something of our own, and have since moved on to fulfill those dreams.

My own creation is a fantasy series, "The Books of Era." In the series I plan to explore the relationship between mankind and the world and the consequences of his actions. The book takes place in a world where mankind took it upon himself to become a god, master of his world and command the universe. He created for himself a heaven to rule in, but a greate catastrophe struck the city and mankind was returned to the earth. Those that survived the Fall built a new life for themselves, but their past was reduced to myths and legends. However, centuries later, secret societies are on a quest to reawaken the old gods so that mankind can be redeemed and return to his rightful place in heaven. Caught in the middle of these struggles is a young boy, Seth, who is pulled from his idyllic life and thrust into a strange world and he must take a journey that will lead to salvation or absolute destruction.

I will try to keep everyone posted on new developments and update content.

Lastly I just want to give huge thank you's to several people that help me keep it together and keep me moving forward: First and foremost, my aforementioned fiancé Angela who will whip me if neccessary to keep me going, and for all of her tireless support through the good and bad. Greg Waller for being there to blaze the trail for me in publishing and for the many tireless and near thankless hours he will spend colouring my detailed art. General thanks to my professors and teachers that inspired and convinced me to continue in art and challenged me to be better: Kogan, Alward and Warren.
