Dude! The new pic looks great. I'm gonna have to hit the gym so you don't get all the booth babes this year in Chicago. I'm gonna have to work hard to even compete, Skinny.

Nice to meet you. Can't wait to hear what you're doing for APE. Those are a bunch of good guys!

[ Posted by SWAT on Jan 10th, 2007 7:50 PM ]...

Thanks. Yeah, Ape is great. So how do you know them? I wanted to say I'm a big fan your work. It's cool you added me it's even cooler that you replied to my comment, lol. Who knows maybe we can work together one day.

I've known Steve Bryant and Brent Irwin for several years now.

[ Posted by SWAT on Jan 10th, 2007 10:52 PM ]...

I met them at the Chicago Con. I was in the artist alley and Darren Sanchez, who I've known for several years now, told me to show them my portfolio. So I did. Mike Hall really liked my work so about 6 months later I was penciling a mini series he wrote. They really are cool guys.

Yeah, I noticed that we're neighbors, too. I always wonder if there are a bunch of comic book creators hiding around here.

Steve Bryant (Athena Voltaire) lives about 60 miles north of me in Normal. Tim Bradstreet used to live there too, but moved a few years ago out west.

Tom Artis also lives in these neck of the woods, but last I heard, he was really really sick and in the hospital. I haven't heard what has happened to him these past few months. I hope he is doing better.

Hey Rusty!

I've been familiar with your work for over 10 years now. Maybe longer than that going back to the HQ QUARTERLY magazine. I'm a vintage G.I. Joe action figure collector and member of the GI Joe Collector's Club.

Nice to 'meet you' out here in cyberspace.

Scott

I'll keep my eyes peeled for more of your books. I've been a fan for several years now. I especially look forward to more DREAM WALKER books.

Happy New Year,

You've worked with some giants in the industry. It's good to have you as part of the community, and I hope we can cross paths one day.

Hey Jon, it's nice to meet you.

I see from your website that you're a fellow Sting/Police music fan.

I'm going to have to pick up your book for my daughter. It looks like it might be something up her alley.

Best,
Scott

Thanks for the kudos, Scott, but all the credit for mightycrusaders.net goes to Rik Offenberger. I contribute whenever I can, however.

I love The Fly! My copy of issue #2 was used for the TPB released in 2004. Hope to see more of those in the future.

I live in Illinois and you're only about a 3 hour drive from me. I'll start looking into it, though I'm tentatively planning on going to Wizard World Los Angeles the next weekend due to some work I'm doing.

Let me think on it. Sounds like fun.

Missing the Green Arrow website. Keep up the great work.

I've got something going on behind the scenes that prevents me right now from putting it back up online. I appreciate it though.
