I've been collecting comics since '88. Mostly Marvel, but I don't discriminate against publishers, I'll read anyone's books, as long as they're interesting. I'm about as big a Deadpool fan as you'll ever meet, and if all goes as planned, I'll be playing him in the movie.

I live in a small town in southern Indiana that never heard of comic books, so I have to drive 30 miles to the nearest shop to get my fix. That's ok though, 'cause Empire Comics in New Albany ain't a bad place to shop, and the owner, George, is a really cool guy.

Aside from comics I also buy a few action figures (very few) and have also tried my hand at CCG's like Magic, Pokemon, and my personal favorite, Overpower, and I've also bought my body weight in Heroclix toys, though I've no one to play it with.

My lady-friend, whom I've been with for a couple years now, just finished reading her first comic, the Powers vol.1 trade, and we have 4 lovely children, all of whom have recently shown a slight intrest in reading comics. Hopefully they'll grow into full-blown collecters. We gotta do our part to keep the industry alive, after all.
