The next Westheimer Block Party is Saturday, March 24 from noon to dark and once again, we will be presenting a comix and zine festival in the artists area located in the Helios parking lot.

If you are a comics or zine creator or publisher, organization or distro, bring a small table to set up. (Space in the parking lot is also available to independent artists of all types).

Set up and admission are free.

More about the Westheimer Block Party:

The Westheimer Block Party is a celebration of Arts, Music, and Subversion featuring art of all types (including live art, graffiti, painting and crafts) and over 30 bands on at least 4 stages. Independent artists of all types are invited to bring a small table and set up in the artists' area at 411 Westheimer.

The Block Party party reaches from the intersection of WESTHEIMER and TAFT eastward to BAGBY, deep in the heart of Montrose. Participating venues include NUMBER'S, MANGO'S, HELIOS, LATE NITE PIE, LA STRADA, and SACRED HEART TATTOO.

And it's all FREE!!
