My name's meaghan and I'm an amateur cartoonist. By 'amateur' I mean I draw little webcomic strips on my journal account for fun. I don't make any money for this-- but I'm also only 17. I'm heading off to art school in Toronto very soon and I'm really looking forward to it.

I grew up on the anime boom of american television. Megaman, Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball were a big part of my life. I learned about human figure proportion from www.howtodrawmanga.com in the seventh grade and that's when I got serious about making drawing a career.

While I love anime, I'm also very big on the North American cartoons such as Kim Possible, Class of the Titans, Justice League, Gargoyles. And Batman. I was raised on Batman cartoons. In grade eleven I got really into the comic books and I've been collecting ever since. I'm not a serious collector but I do try to keep them out of the sun and in some covers.

Autotaku is basically a webcomic journal for myself. I only started it a few months ago but I'm still doing my best to keep it up and working. I'm going for Classical Animation in the fall.
