Well.. this is interesting. I look forward to seeing how it develops. I am a stay at home mother who does webcomics and artwork for a living. My daughter was born with HLHS, thus, I ended up quitting my nice paying, full time job with great health benefits to take care of her and things have worked out just right. My inspirations are simply what I enjoy, and having grown up vigorously reading and loving such things as Jane Eyre, The Jungle Book, Black Beauty, Watership Down, etc with a healthy dose of Voltron (Lions), Transformers, GI Joe etc and a current love of FullMetal Alchemist, Trigun, Spider Man, Bone, Firefly, Ruroni Kenshin, Samurai 7, etc... I have varied inspirations, although they tend to only inspire genres and clothing. ;) I'll just say that my works reflect the kind of things I like to read to begin with. Below's just a list of what I'm currently working on, which changes every week. I tend to stick to producing work for an audience of 13 - 30+ year olds with occasional mature themes (Cutting Trigger note on AD, angsty aliens and somesuch.), no really foul language. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Click here for raptors with wings!Click here for a behind the scenes view of a spy agency!Click here for angsty aliens and alien games!Click here for bishis with wings and werewolves allergic to their own fur!Click here for talking fuzzies!Click here for sci fi westerns without any western in it at the moment!Woohoo... I just figured out that I can now easily contact a pool of elgible comic artists to do paid work for my print comics. :) I'm in the middle of destroying my websites due to bad webdesign and indecision on what to DO with it. :D I am not looking for additional work, I have plenty to do on my own and it would take something paying very well to get me to drop my other projects since... they are my job. Don't try to contact me to work for free. And note.. I am NOT that good at all. I'm just productive and constantly working on improving. I script without thinking if I can draw it or not... which can occasionally result in painful views. :D

Hey Tiffany,
How is it going? Did you hear about the New Avengers/Transformers cross-over mini-series from Marvel comics and IDW publishing?
I am very excited about these comics!
I hope they are going to be good!

Hi Tiffany,
Thanks for adding me to your friends list! I am a big Transformers fan! I want to see new Transformers movie but I think Michael Bay might ruin it because he probably has never seen the 1980s cartoon.

I am DREADING the release of the movie. Of course, I'll be in line to watch it, but I already know it's going to be garbage storywise. Michael Bay does NOT have a good track record with actually telling a story. He'd much rather make up for it with lots of explosions and special effects. = I'll enjoy it at least for that. |

Hi there! We’re starting up this year’s Small Press Idol…and wanted to invite you to the grand unveiling of this year’s Guidelines. I apologize for the all-in-one nature of this. At this time, individuals and teams have a little over a month to get things together and be ready to post their Round 1 entries. Round 1 will last till March 25th. It’s a solid window to get a project together and qualified for Round 2 past our judge panel. If you are interested in being a contestant, this is fair warning to get a project going! If you are a news outlet or resource of any sort, we invite you to help spread the word about Small Press Idol, and get on the official Sponsors and Supporters list on the Idol Main Page. Traditionally, the page has gotten hundreds of thousands of hits a month for the 5 months the contest runs. All we ask in return for the link placement on our prominently placed list, is a link back in some way that is fairly prominent, and that you indeed cover the contest if you are a news site. You can contact us about that right from the guidelines page. Just want to watch the show? That’s great! Now is time to sign up at the site so you can VOTE in the rounds to come, and post comments about your favorites! We’re expecting hundreds of contestants this year. It should be a lot of fun!

Hope this message reaches you in the spirit it was intended, you are welcome to ask questions, and otherwise make sure this is for real. This is the fourth year for the SPI. Last year’s contest pages are still online. So that’s what this is about, hope it interests you!

HURRAY!! I can now respond to comments! Yeah,.. I have this thought disorder thing... called thought disorder. ;) That's how I manage to do the things I do, although I'm stopping production on all but three comics so that I can work on the merchandising end of things for the first six months of 2007. |

Thanks for the add! I've been following your strips (off belfry mostly) for years. Its always fresh and I get hooked deeper each time I look at the archives. What's I'd give to be able to draw expressons like yours. CF |

So you have like 100 comics, and I can't decide which to read. Argh! I think I'll read Shivae! soon though, because I started reading it once in my spare time (which then turned out to be not-so-spare) and it was cool with accompanying prose for each strip. *heart* That was nice. |
